I discovered the transformational powers of coaching over a decade ago and used it to create a life I once only dreamed about. I transformed my physical and mental health, finances, and relationships with coaching and I now use all of these experiences to teach others how to create their own dream life.

I'm not here to solve all your problems or do the work for you. I am here to support you and give you the tools to accelerate your growth. I will hold you accountable for doing the work, in a trauma-informed way, so you can succeed.

Can I skip therapy and go straight to coaching?

Whether you start with therapy or coaching depends on several factors. Coaching is designed for people who are able to regulate their nervous system and are prepared to be held accountable for doing the work necessary to meet their goals. 

 

If you are struggling with trauma or PTSD symptoms you will benefit much more greatly from completing Somatic Experiencing sessions until the trauma has been released from your nervous system.

 

If you are experiencing symptoms of a mental health disorder, you will benefit from seeing a licensed mental health professional such as a counselor or psychiatrist. 

How do I know I'm ready to move on from therapy?

When you have achieved your goal or are no longer seeing results from therapy, it's time to move on. Congratulate yourself for reaching this milestone! You've worked hard and deserve to celebrate. 

How is coaching different from counseling or therapy?

Coaching is efficient and dependant on action steps to get results. Unlike traditional therapy which can depend on years of endless talking to get results, coaches use self-disclosure, tools, and accountability to help their clients achieve maximum results in a short amount of time. Coaching is usually short term and goes at a pace decided upon by the client. In coaching, the client is in control and has the freedom to decide which goals they want to work on.
