Credentials
Hi, I'm Meagan. I've walked through trauma, grief, abuse, anxiety, shame and illness, came out the other side and built a life I love. It wasn't easy but I'm proud of what I've accomplished and I'm stunned with gratitude that I now get to help others create the same power transformations in their own lives.

My journey as a trauma therapist began in 2008 when I entered a massage therapy program and studied body-based modalities to become a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist in 2010. While I loved my work as a therapist, I knew there was something missing. I could easily facilitate relaxation in my clients but the effects were temporary. I wanted to create longer-lasting, more permanent relief from stress, tension, and anxiety not just for my clients but also for myself.
As a long time student of psychology, I began to study coaching and how people could transform their lives by exploring their beliefs, thoughts, and actions to not just relieve stress but also create lasting change. I never get tired of the transformational powers of coaching. Coaching was a huge key to creating the lasting change and relief that both clients and I wanted.
I began to put the mind-body puzzle pieces together by becoming a student of Somatic Experiencing in 2016 and earning my degree in psychology in 2019 where I focused on trauma and PTSD.

In the future, I look forward to completing my SE training and earning my master's in counseling.
