How to get the most out of this course
Welcome to your personal discovery course. I have designed this course to be exploratory, transformational, and even a little fun.
On this journey, we will need just one tool: curiosity. I want you to approach the journey of getting to know yourself with a sense of curiosity and appreciation and maintain this curiosity even when you encounter something you don’t necessarily want to see or learn about yourself. Wanna love your self? You gotta have curiosity. Wanna change something about yourself? You gotta approach it with curiosity.
Maintaining mindfulness and curiosity helps us release resistance so that we can begin to work with ourselves and not struggle against ourselves. You have come along way in order to get to this point. And you might have done so by fighting and struggling, but for the next 10 modules, I want you to put away your pitch forks.
How to cultivate a sense of curiosity?
When you were a child, no one could stop you from exploring, wandering, trying and tasting everything in sight. That’s curiosity and it’s still inside of you. If you have trouble conjuring up a sense of curiosity, take some time to journal. When was the last time you felt curious? What did it feel like in your body? When was the last time you were so interested or fascinated by something you lost track of time? Are there any questions that pop up in your mind when exploring something new? That’s curiosity. Remember this feeling and practice accessing it throughout this course.
